Climate Solutions Conference 2024

Oxfordshire Greentech invites you to our Climate Solutions Conference on 13th March, Said Business School (Oxford) in partnership with Oxfordshire County Council, Mewburn Ellis and the International Tree Foundation.

With the warning from UN Secretary-General António Guterres that we are now in an era of “global boiling,” the time is now for investment in and development of climate positive technologies at speed and scale.

We also need to use existing technologies, more ambitious policies and behavioural change to get the sustainable and equitable transition Oxfordshire needs.

That’s why our conference will have two streams, starting later in the morning: sustainable transition and climate tech innovation.

THE AIMS

Inform – share knowledge about pioneering low-carbon projects/companies
Ignite – help green businesses to win more customers and climate tech startups to receive investment
Inspire – create a space for new connections and collaborations

THE AUDIENCE

Businesses (including climate tech innovators, businesses with “green” products/services, and those interested in supporting and becoming more sustainable)

Universities and students
Investors and funders

THE FORMAT

A conference of two halves – focusing both on climate tech innovation and sustainability initiatives.

There will be several morning sessions together as we set the scene and then we will divide later in the day.

10:10am: Keynote speech by Chris Goodall, renowned author and public speaker
