What is this group?

This is a special interest group focused on Access to Finance, and will provide SIG members with expert insight into different types of funding, funding advice, and access to funders looking to fund green and low-carbon products and services. It is being championed by Flexible Funding, a Founder member of Oxfordshire Greentech.

Our aims:

  • To enhance awareness and understanding of the different types of funding available for green and low-carbon companies
  • To provide events and meet-the-funder workshops where OG members have the opportunity to meet funders and pitch for funding
  • To develop and scale up the low-carbon economy as a whole within the county through funding good projects and incentivising more businesses to transition to green
  • To become a hub for all things green funding within the county

Who is Flexible Funding?
 Flexible Funding is a privately funded boutique lender providing bespoke “asset backed” short-term funding solutions. We specialise in supporting sustainable business projects. Our objective is to bring financial expertise and transparent funding process to benefit local business communities – particularly those with a sustainable focus. We work primarily with businesses requiring funding in Oxfordshire although we are often approached to fund projects across many regions and are happy to consider new business enquiries from across the UK.

Flexible Funding is a boutique Oxfordshire-based lender: Elio Astone (MD) and John Kennedy (Head of Marketing, Operations and Client Service). They are passionate about creating a better world, bringing green projects to life with the necessary funding.
